Librarians can help you find and use Open Educational Resources (OER) and library e-resources (including ebooks and streaming videos). Grants are available to support faculty in creating OER and switching from commercial to free materials. Librarians can also provide information about copyright and fair use.
Interlibrary loan enables LBCC students and employees to borrow resources from libraries outside the Linn Libraries Consortium. Contact: libill@linnbenton.edu
The Student Help Desk assists students with software, library hardware, and other technology-related problems/questions.
The Library has a variety of special collections, including Spanish-language materials, Literacy Resources & Readers Collection, and technology available for checkout. You can search for specific items in the Library through the Ebsco Discovery Service (includes physical items and most digital collections) or the Library Catalog (includes physical items and some ebooks).
Librarians select materials in accordance with our materials selection policy. The LBCC Library also accepts requests for purchase of new library materials that are in support of the curriculum content and/or instructional needs of employees and students. Submit a request.
