Let us help you with your math questions! Linn-Benton Community College has a variety of drop-in math support resources for students.

Math Drop-In Support Schedule

Support for All Levels of Math

The Math Help Desk provides a supportive place where students can get drop-in help, on the Albany and Corvallis campuses or virtually via Zoom, with all LBCC mathematics and applied mathematics courses. 

Albany in-person math support is available at the Math Help Desk in Willamette Hall (located above the library):

• Monday - Thursday: 8:00am - 5:00pm

Corvallis in-person math support is available in the Benton Center Learning Annex: 

• Monday & Wednesday: 11:00am - 3:00pm

Remote Math support services for all levels of math are available five days a week through a single Zoom link below.

Monday - Thursday: 8:00am - 7:00pm
Friday: 11:00am - 4:00pm

Support for MTH 015 - MTH 111z

The Math Café is an additional drop-in resource for students in MTH 015 through MTH 111z. The Math Café provides a cozy, welcoming environment, with knowledgeable staff available for "just in time" support and FREE hot beverages. 

Albany in-person math support is available at the Math Café in Willamette Hall 227 (located adjacent to the Learning Center):

Monday - Thursday: 8:00am - 5:00pm 

More Options for Help with Math

• Your instructor is your first and best resource for questions and help. Visit them during scheduled office hours or request an appointment.
• To set up a 50 minute session with a math tutor, go to the Tutoring Center website. Follow the instructions to book an appointment.
• Please have your student ID number ready when joining us in Zoom.
• If you could use help with study strategies or test anxiety in math, make an appointment with Academic Coaching.

• There are online resources for math, such as Khan Academy and MathTV.
