Degree & Certificate Options

At LBCC, we offer three programs in machine tool technology, ranging from one-year certificates to a two-year degree.

Machine Tool Technology, Associate of Applied Science

This two-year degree will prepare you with the skills required in the machinist's trade through a combination of classroom coursework and hands-on learning on both manual and CNC lathes and mills, as wells as grinders, saws and other shop equipment.

This one-year certificate will give you balanced machining experience in a variety of areas, including manual machines, CNC machines, and inspection practices.

This accelerated one-year certificate program trains students on the basics of CNC operation as well as CNC programming.
