The Student Help Desk assists students with most computer software-related issues and other technology problems or questions, from login problems related to LBCC’s online systems to questions about course-related instructional software. We also check out laptops and provide assistance to anyone using library equipment like our scanners, printers, etc.

The Student Help Desk is located in the LBCC Library on the Albany campus.

Fall term hours:

  • Monday - Thursday: 7:30am to 6:00pm
  • Friday: 7:30am to 4:00 pm
  • Saturday: 11:00am to 3:00pm
  • Sunday: Closed

*Student Help Desk hours are subject to change during Finals or break weeks.

Make an appointment! 

Appointments with a Student Help Desk employee are a great way to get extended one-on-one assistance. Appointments are available in person or online. They should be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance.

To schedule an appointment, call the Student Help Desk at 541-917-4630 or do the following steps:

How to make an appointment
  1. Open Watermark. Log in using your Single Sign-On ID and password
  2. Click on the Meetings tab and choose Library as the location.
  3. Under Know who you want to meet with, select:
    • Digital Skills Coaching (virtual) to schedule an online meeting.
    • OR Digital Skills Coaching (in-person: Albany) to schedule a meeting at the LBCC Library in Albany.
  4. In the What's on your mind box, describe what you would like help with or the task you would like to accomplish.
  5. Select an appointment length, then choose a date and time. Click Save.

You will receive a Google calendar invitation and an email from an employee with important information about your appointment. Make sure to check your LBCC student email

Please bring your assignments or other helpful documents to the appointment.
