Spring Choral Concert "Carmina Burana" June 7
Linn-Benton Community College award winning choirs will perform “Carmina Burana” choral
concert 7:30 p.m. Friday, June 7 at the LBCC Russell Tripp Performance Center, 6500
Pacific Blvd. SW, Albany.
LBCC Concert and Chamber choirs will perform in conjunction with an orchestra, conducted
by Raymund Ocampo, LBCC Choral Studies director, with soloists Patty Gerig, Amy Hansen,
Jason Caffarella, Kevin Helppie, and Tim McCoy.
LBCC a cappella ensembles Sirens and Blue Light Special will perform works originally
performed by Queen, Lady Gaga, The Bee Gees, John Denver and more.
Carl Orff's 1937 composition Carmina Burana remains one of the most popular pieces
of the classical music repertoire. The version being performed at LBCC is the Orff
sanctioned chamber version with two pianos and percussion.
Tickets are $10 general admission, $7 for seniors and veterans. Concert is free for
