Early Learning Hub releases Regional Data Book for community
The Early Learning Hub of Linn, Benton and Lincoln Counties, housed at Linn-Benton Community College, has
released a Regional Data Book intended to guide and support strategic decision-making
by its Governing Board and community members.
This data book presents health, education, social and economic factors for our target
population of children ages 0-6. This consolidated repository of early childhood data
will be useful in increasing family stability, improving kindergarten readiness, and
ensuring service coordination that is equitable, and culturally and linguistically
appropriate for our region.
The data book also addresses challenges facing our region’s youngest children who
are at risk of arriving at kindergarten unprepared. Early learning community partners
can use the data to help them better-serve children and families.
The Regional Data Book is available for no charge on the Early Learning Hub website. For more information, contact Kristi Collins, Early Learning Hub director,
at collink@linnbenton.edu.
