Welcome to Our Newest LBCC Roadrunners!
Seventy-five high school students signed letters of intent to reserve their spot in
one of LBCC's popular career and technical education programs during the college’s
CTE Signing Day held May 1, 2019.
The annual event is open to all high school seniors, recent GED completers and those
interested in enrolling in one of the college’s CTE programs. Students will start
their programs in fall term 2019.
CTE programs are usually completed in two years or less. Graduates of LBCC’s programs
are in high demand by business and industry throughout Oregon, where the need for
a skilled workforce is high.
LBCC CTE programs provide hands-on, skills-based education where students learn critical
and analytical thinking needed to work in today’s high-tech manufacturing settings,
public works sectors and computer systems sectors.
LBCC CTE programs include: Accounting Technology; Automotive Technology; Computer Aided Design & Drafting; Heavy
Equip/Diesel Technology; Machine Tool Technology; Mechatronics/Industrial Automation
Technology; Networking & Systems Administration; Non-Destructive Test & Evaluation;
Practical Business Management; Water, Environment & Technology; and Welding & Fabrication
Technology.
